2025 Veterans Day Parade & Exploration Place Event
The Blecklley Foundation participated in Wichita’s 2025 Veterans Day Parade, sponsored by the American Legion Post #4 and their sponsored Veterans Event at Wichita’s Exploration Place!
Our parade entry included our Mobile Museum, John Bierens playing his bagpipes (the entire parade!), our extremely popular dogfight between a DH-4 and a Fokker Dr.1 Triplane, and walkers handing out candy to the children! Our entry won a Third Place Award!
At Exploration Place, we sold yummy lunches and staffed an information table on Erwin Bleckley, Wichita’s only Congressional Medal of Honor-awarded aviation hero!
